I'm not usually one for resolutions but this is my year of all years, 2012 is going to be my most achievable year to date...

1) getting trim 

2) running 5k in less then 27 mins

3) blogging more frequently

4) expanding  Frillies For Fillies in lots of new and exciting avenues (watch this space)

5) baking macaroons

6) holidaying in Marrakech, Sydney

7) deciding on another destination with my dear friend Carly Cardwell

8) helping the garden grow

9)making and selling at a local craft fair

10) Learning to crochet and knit like a master

Current craft project

Rowan Country Wool... oh how I love thee!

I have done so much with this range this winter, I think it may be discontinued as I cannot find it on the website but its still available on Ebay.  This is my favourite, it reminds me candy cane colours.  It is due to be a scarf, I am thinking of putting some little pom poms on the corners to finish it off. Watch this space. My needles are 9mm bamboo ones from Pony.  I have my eye on the rosewood ones(available in John Lewis), I think they are gorgeous!

whilst on the Rowan website, I came across the pattern for this,  coming from the Lake District I love sheep and think this is so cute!

Knit Wit

I have a secret but shhhh don't tell anyone. I have joined a knitting group.

Well it really doesn't have to be a secret because I love it! It's held at Lee Rosy's tea shop in town, and this week I just about remembered how to do the basic cast on and basic knitting but now I am thinking I want to produce something lovely.

Missoni have got some gorgeous knitwear on their AW09 catwalk collection and I just love the scarves. I was thinking of wearing (once made) it with my Hunter wellies (yes I am a mug but they are wonderful). Think winter countryside walks! My fave is the last one with contrast line on the edge it.
