Instagram update and new shop items

This week I've been playing round with photos on Instagram, mixing it with a font app creates another dimention.

Dr darling and myself had an at home 'date' where we made something nice to eat and sat in our conservatory. It's starting to get warmer now (only just) so we are making use of our seasonal room! It wasn't quite dark enough but I really fancied lighting some candles- well you've got to create a bit of ambience haven't you!?

FFF's shop has a few more bits in it a vintage frilly robe, so me! Perfect for the lazy weekends of comfort and still looking glamourous, would be perfect teamed with a fluffy white kitty cat!

A welsh tapestry purse, this is in great condition with 2 roomy compartments.

Here's a little sneak preview-I also picked this up on my stock hunt, a Fornasetti plate. This was so hard to photograph because the glaze is so uber shiny! The colours are truly fabulous, a really rich beetroot pink teamed with gold. The Italians do it well non?!

Booty in June

There is nothing like a bit of thrift on a Sunday morning, what a collection!

This guilty pleasure has taken place over my cocktail cabinet, 1970s chic.

Fornasetti print, Ive been in love with this stuff for some time now, have you seen these chairs?!

1950's beach scene plate

This little oak stool weighs a ton, I am going to sand it down and bring it back to looking tip top and showing off the wonderful grain of the wood. I especially love the shape the legs create, really arts and crafts

Booty

This morning I rose early to go to a local car boot.  Now i have been promising myself I'd go for weeks now so I pushed myself to rise at 7am and get myself down there. I am so glad I went.

I love the idea of having a dinner service all un-matching, but each piece is beautiful and chosen because it is as individual as the next

Next I found the most gorgeous glass cake plates, I am very excited to bake and present me delights on these.  They are both transfer printed, the first print is like lace doilies and the 2nd is a real 60's pattern with gilt on the edges.

I also came across a vintage vanity case by Antler it was an absolute steal and comes with the keys for the lock too (the man said it was rare, but I bartered him down hard!).

In the afternoon I did a spot of gardening, I am still new to this mowing the lawn business and accidently chopped a plant up, the flowers are so pretty I couldn't resist getting a pic in
