 I went to visit Glasgow School of Arts a few years ago and fell in love with Charles Rene Makintosh, his furniture and architecture is breathtakingly beautiful. His botanical watercolour is stunning

British Art Show 7

Nottingham goose fair painting













I spent today at the British Art Show 7 in Nottingham. A show that links Nottingham Contemporary, New Art Exchange and Nottingham Castle Museum. The whole event was free, and you have to have a passport stamped at each venue to be able to get into the Castle at the end.
Some interesting things were on display including the giant bear which looks like it is made from old tents.
At the castle they had their regular exhibition on, which had some wonderful textiles including a feather print Kimono and a beautiful patchwork quilt.
