This hair style is so cool, very gutsy though! Total 90s grunge and although it's a decade I grew up in I still really love it (my sisters an 80s child and won't humour a pair of leggings!).

 I went to visit Glasgow School of Arts a few years ago and fell in love with Charles Rene Makintosh, his furniture and architecture is breathtakingly beautiful. His botanical watercolour is stunning

thrifty weekend

I hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday... I spent mine eating, sleeping and thrifting! I popped over to Newarke Antique Fair and picked up this stunning picture of the ballerina, the artist has capured her fluffy tutu wonderfully.

pup update-Lola

She's growing at an extraordinary rate and is learning a trick a week, so far sitting and lying down on command I seem to have a very bright pup.  We're off to puppy party at the vets tonight, a social event.  I can't wait to see how she behaves..

last night a friend of ours brought his fully grown pup round Beryl, certainly 3 times the size of her, she's known as a dominant dog but Lola was bossing her all the time, she has a wonderful character and I love her to bits!

Named after her love for her home county it features British heritage style at affordable high street prices.  The launch film is pretty cool, shot by the famous Tom Craig starting the model Lily Donaldson and her sister Aureila.

A new member of the household- Lola Coco Fuzzy Butt

So after a lot of deliberation we decided upon getting another member of the household, the fuzzy variety. Meet Lola Coco Fuzzy Butt, an 8 week old Airedale Terrier. We have had her for 4 days now and she is so very clever, I think we are going to have our hands full with her as she is very nosey and confident!

Home made lamb and halumi burger with chestnut mushrooms, to balance out with a whole meal bun and salad, this was so big I had to pin it together with a cocktail stick! Went down a treat though

 

Look at this little tinker, meet Rafferty Xander, my gorgeous blue eyed nephew. We went up for a visit last weekend and he took his first crawl- amazing!

 

 

 While we were there we popped to Rampsbeck Country House Hotel which overlooks lake Ullswater

and so to bed, fresh bedding, fresh jim jams and freshly showered, pefect!
